Fall Photo Guide

About

I'm Andy Feliciotti, a photographer and the creator of Fall Photo Guide.

A ridge and a nearby valley can reach peak color weeks apart. The guide brings location estimates together with sunrise times, sun direction and weather forecasts to help you plan a shoot.

Each location has coordinates, elevation and access notes. You can compare typical peak dates, check the light for your visit and read recent community reports.

Foliage dates are seasonal estimates, and actual conditions can differ. The methodology explains the model's inputs and limits.

Elsewhere

I write about photography at I Hit The Button and built the sunrise and sunset API at sunrisesunset.io . This guide also includes calculated sunrise and sunset times.

How the forecast works
